- Turn inside out before washing
- Use a phosphate-free liquid soap, natural shampoo, Castile soap, or natural orange soap
- Hand wash gently in cold water to protect the print
- Avoid overwashing to prevent fading
- If fading occurs, soak the print briefly in a dilute bath of hydrogen peroxide to restore its original intensity
- Dry flat in the shade—avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying
- Iron on low heat if necessary, with a cloth between the iron and fabric
- Embrace the evolving, beautiful shades as your piece naturally changes over time
